This story expands on the characters who are the Aquamites. They reside in Emerald Lake. Annison is the daughter of the leader of the mer-people and has become Jimmy's new 'best friend', But their friendship is limited because of her lack of legs. She must always be tied to living in water. As is her young sister, Florence, who worships her big sister and even the boyfriend who vies for her sister's affection.. This story begins with a catastrophe  and appears to end sadly, until Annison's transformation by the Master is revealed.
